Introduction

 

Bent or broken needle is an inevitable problem in circular knitting machines which causes waste fabric. Therefore, a proper and applicable device is needed to detect such kinds of needle faults, precisely to increase production efficiency by reliable stop command at faults. In order to empowerment of circular knitting industry, a knowledge based product have been implemented by Araz Co. which accurately detects Bent or broken needle using state of the art LIDAR technology.

Laser Head

Laser head detects needles accurately using state of the art LIDAR technology and transfers data to the process unit through a cable.

 
Process and Display Unit

The process unit analyses transduced data of the leaser head to be able to detect broken or Bent needle using a reliable method which guaranties minimum possible false alarm and maximum possible fault detection. The display unit illustrates needle conditions, rotation velocity of the machine and other useful data on 4.3 inch LCD. Also, user can enter required data such as total number of needles in the machine using user friendly menues and capacitive touchscreen.

 
Easy to Install Fixture

The specially designed fixture consists of five parts which make it possible to install on wide variety of circular knitting machines. The structure which is used, guaranties easy adjustment of the laser head as well as reliable fastening.
